2016 – Год английского языка в Украине

«In the words of A. P. Chekhov: “the more languages you know the more times you are a man”. The necessity of learning a foreign language in 2016 will be higher, in particular for Ukrainians. President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree “On declaring 2016 the Year of the English language in Ukraine.” Given the dynamic pace of modern life, free time for language learning in humans not so much. Maybe for many who want to do online remotely, it will become the only option. Thus, English language teachers from all over the world will have a greater number of students online.

We can also celebrate with the British people their holidays:

January 1 — New year

March 17 — St. Patrick's Day

March 25 — good Friday

March 28 — Easter Monday

October 31 — Halloween

December 26 — Boxing Day (2nd Christmas day)

We can study and we can rest.

The students of group №144 took part in an interesting competition «I Like English». All the youngsters were divided into two groups: they were teams. The teams solved unusual puzzles, guessed the riddles and the charades. But the most amazing contest was dramatazing of two plays. The first team showed the extract from «Robin Hood and the Greedy Abbot» and the second team proposed to the spectators’ attention the story by Jerome K. Jerome «An Absent-Minded Man». During the competition there was a lot of fun, music and laugh. All guests and participants were glad to take part in such an amusing game. 

    

Вітаю вас на нашому пізнавальному блозі "Our English"

Усі маленькі хочуть стати великими. Коли ми були маленькими,
нашою метою було стати вагомими для світу, наздогнати й обійти
основного опонента за обсягом пізнань. У який момент ми з
подивом  виявили, що мету досягнуто, а життя триває і для цього
нового життя потрібна нова мета,але яка? Ще більщі наклади?
Ще більше нагород? Ні, мета має бути ще вищою, кращою,
недосяжною - як засніжений Єверест, що сягає своєю вершиною
хмар. І форму її вже мають інші поняття - не кількісні, а якісні.
Стати кращими... У чому? Де? Для чого? І ким мі є зараз?

У цьому блюзі ми намагаємось відповісти на ці запитання
шляхом самовдосконалення та поглиблення знань з англійської
мови. Адже головний наш конкурент - це ми самі, учорашні.
У готовності конкурувати із самим собою й криється ідея
нескінченного розвитку.
